Cavachon Puppy Blenheim Girl I couldn’t resist naming this gold & white bundle of silky curls after another lovely canine who helped make me a dog fancier those many years ago. The original “Lassie” though a bit larger package, had the same snowy white boots and golden accents in a coat of spun silk like her sweet small namesake here. And, yes, pondering size, this baby will be about 15 pounds grown (instead of the original Lassie at closer to 70 pounds!), a much more portable size, perfect for popping in the mudroom sink for her weekly bath and a long sight easier to brush and manage than my beloved Collies ever were! Don’t miss the wee thumbprint on her forehead, legend has it that it’s the mark of favor from the Queen of England, along with her Blenheim color, a sign of all things royal I’m sure.
