Welcome To Foxglove Farm 😊
Oh my goodness, I LOVE what I do. It’s ridiculous to enjoy being a dog breeder quite this much, but I am so blessed to have spent my life placing truly incredible Cavapoo and Cavachon Canine Companions in loving homes across this country and, indeed, a few around the world!
My name is Terry Cross; that’s the love of my life John, and our beloved Agatha, and I’m so glad you found Foxglove Farm in your puppy-seeking journey. I’m so thankful to the Lord for allowing me to do what I love most: bring Puppy Joy to families with our wonderful Cavachon & Cavapoo puppies 🐶 We all need a little JOY right now, even the kind that arrives on four paws!
Lest you think my life is filled with nothing but puppy kisses, you’d be amazed at the untold hours of hard work that goes into what I do. It is both a privilege and a responsibility that I can only do with His help. Our prayer is that each puppy finds his or her way to the perfect home and that they are a blessing to every family they go to. God is in the little details, too, even helping us raise the most amazing puppies on the 🌎 ❤️ 🙏🏻
I’m thrilled you found us, even if you don’t purchase a puppy from Foxglove (they are very pricey; it takes decades of learning and working more hours than I care to admit.
Still, it’s my passion and joy to help people find a wonderful puppy and, even more importantly, share resources to show them how to raise a canine companion who brings joy to their family for years to come.
Fondest Wags,
Miss Terry

Yes, I’m on a mission to raise the most amazing Cavachon and Cavapoo puppies on the 🌎 Puppies who are not only healthy and beautiful but also easy to raise and a delight to own. I get dozens of calls from worried parents; they want to get a Cavapoo (or Cavachon!) puppy for their kids but are petrified that getting a new puppy will be more stressful than they can handle.
(You can read more about our process here 😊 but the short version is; you’ll pay more for a Foxglove Farm Cavapoo or Cavachon puppy, but that puppy will be life-changing in so many ways: I’m on a mission to make life with a new puppy so easy that you’ll finally say yes to the piteous pleas of your family to finally get a puppy! Making your puppy journey a roaring success is my goal 😇 Yep, our puppies cost more, but they are so worth every penny you spend!
Our puppies don’t go home until they are 11 to 13 weeks old—old enough to sleep through the night (from day one in their new homes!)
Your new Cavapoo or Cavachon puppy is essentially 65 to 75% housetrained.
Foxglove puppies are old enough to have all three sets of core vaccinations completed. This will keep your puppy safe from viruses and save you a small fortune on early puppy care. Your puppy can walk on the street, interact with other (friends and family) dogs, and not miss important early socialization because they are well protected before we send them home.
Puppies are started on a more natural path to good health, including a puppy formula that builds immune health, NuVet vitamins, and a high-dose probiotic.
FYI 😊 If you fall in love with one of our available puppies and absolutely don’t want to miss him or her? My best advice is to go ahead and purchase some puppies FLY off the page!
Not sure, and have questions about a particular puppy?
Trying to put a puppy in your cart; what a crazy idea, but it works! Please note that just putting a puppy there will not “Hold” your selection!
Are you a puppy newbie? Wondering which puppy will be the easiest? Let me point you in the right puppy direction! Need a second dog? Or a feline-friendly pup? Our puppies are great for the novice dog owner, already sleeping through the night and never alpha, so most are wonderful additions to any current kid/canine/feline family; they are adaptable, sensible, and smart!

Cavachon Puppy Blenheim Boy | I’m SO 🥰 ADORABLE | Smallish - About 12 Pounds Grown
Poor baby Fiddlesticks, his siblings love to tease him because he’s so little and cute, and makes the funniest squeaky sound when they take his toys. I confess, I can’t help laughing; he has the most precious little face and looks so woebegone - it’s hysterical, (mean Mama Terry to laugh at the baby 😂).
All he has to do is pick a new favorite, and before you know it, someone pounces on the duck or bunny, or funny yellow chicken (the current fav) and runs off triumphantly with all the other puppies giving the victor a highfive and Fiddlesticks plopping down in a heap to wait until he can nab Mr. Chicken and hide him from the hoodlums. He’s longing to be an only child so he can have as many toys as he wants and not have to share with his pesky siblings ever again!
I can’t say one more word about his appearance; suffice to say he’s irresistible. I take a zillion pictures to show each puppy from every angle, but pictures just don’t do any of them justice, especially this litter; they almost broke my camera with the cuteness overload.
Ah, but before I move on to the other little munchkins, let me finish by saying Fiddlesticks is brave and funny and ever so sweet. He’s a total cuddler but happily zips around outdoors, up and down the teeter-totter like a big dog, and will have your groomer swooning with delight the moment she spies him. A compliant sort of puppy, he’s not a bit alpha and will be thrilled to let you spoil him to bits as long as he’s allowed to have his very own toy basket and only has to share when he feels like it!
Cavachon Puppy Blenheim Girl | 16 - 18 Pounds Grown | SO PRETTY!
Isn’t she just the most outlandishly pretty puppy you’ve ever seen?!? I had to use one of her darling pictures on the homepage banner. What a lovely puppy to greet visitors to Foxglove Farm!
That’s the sum and total of this baby girl, she’s yes, exceedingly beautiful, and warm-hearted and welcoming 💛 with the sunny disposition all the best Cavachons have. Her color is richly pigmented with lots of butterscotch offset with the purest white background. I adore her round face and those dark eyes, curls and waves galore, your groomer will love her too I promise!
She’s an angel at all the basics, a darling to groom and bathe, you can trim her paws, brush her ears, she’ll walk on a lead, still hopping for joy at this age but she’s getting the idea lol. I’m fairly certain she’s going to sleep through the night from day one in her new home (yes, Puppy Person, you’re going to read my New Puppy 101, the chapters on potty training BEFORE she comes home so you’ll sail through the first night and all the other nights with ease!).
She’s a good choice for just about any setting, smart and funny and extra affectionate, a delight of a puppy I promise!
Cavachon Puppy Blenheim Boy | 12 - 14 Pounds Grown | Such a little character!
Oh, this little butterscotch and white bundle of puppy fluff will delight the whole family with his antics! He dreams up the funniest tricks, all of his own making. First he balances back on his bottom, then lifts one snowy front paw and lifts it up, up, up,,, and waves it while doing his best to talk to me. He bats those big brown eyes, tries to sit up even taller, and then flops over on his side, thrilled to bits with his own wit lol.
He’s got loads of personality, loves to make us laugh, is more than a little bit of a mischief, but with no meaness in his little self. He’s totally sweet-natured and loving, but he does enjoy a good time and thinks everyone he meets can hardly wait to play with him. (Or hold him on movie night and share that big bowl of popcorn!).
He will become part of the fabric of your life, prancing when you want him to show off to the neighbors, and snuggly and kissy-faced when you need a sympathetic four-footed friend ❤️
The puppies are, of all things, listening to opera classics tonight. I’ve decided that they need a well-rounded musical education as well as their other puppy basics. I’m wondering what in the world they think is going on. This afternoon, it was bluegrass; tonight, it's opera, in the middle, my favorite Christian classics, old and new. Who knows what goes through their little minds? They certainly seem to enjoy everything I serve up, even audiobooks! They are like small sponges at this age, and the more they experience, the more well-rounded they’ll be as adults, I say!

Cavapoo Puppy Ruby & White (with LOTS of BLING) Boy | 12 to 14 pounds grown.
This little red-headed cowpoke has justifiably the CUTEST boots in the litter, but don’t tell him I said so, or he’ll get a swelled head and insist that I buy him a cowboy hat to complete the picture. He prances around, flinging those bright white boots proudly. You wouldn’t think a puppy could possibly notice such things, but I promise you, he knows he’s extra fancy, lol. He’s also super affectionate and has my favorite style and expression, with that rich Irish Setter red coat that I adore.
His favorite pastime? He’ll plant those white feet, square those tiny shoulders, and lock eyes with his chosen opponent (be it one of his siblings or the particularly suspicious rubber chicken toy). And then, with a quick pounce, he’s off—racing like a tumbleweed in a windstorm, boots flashing, ears flapping, with his prize held aloft in his tiny jaws, and with a trail of outraged siblings racing after him 😆
Don’t worry; for all his playful energy, he’s the cuddliest puppy you’ll ever meet; he rolls over to have his tummy rubbed or leans into your hand for a good ear scratching, closing his eyes in puppy bliss; he is especially affectionate (when he’s not rustling rubber chickens), and I see a most loving and AMUSING small companion in the making!
Cavapoo Puppy Apricot & White Girl About 12 - 14 pounds when I’m grown.
Such a fluffy, pretty puppy girl, Gracie Belle managed to avoid most of the bunny drama; she’s way too cool to be so silly and looks at the other puppies rather like a teenage big sister watching the small fry have meltdowns over their toys. She rolls her eyes and gives me a look like “Really? All this drama over a RABBIT?” She thinks she’s too mature for such silliness, but then I spied her hopping off and onto the teeter-totter with one of the stuffed treasures in her mouth, and I told her that she was just as silly as the rest of the puppykids, even if she doesn’t think so lol.
She’s one of a litter of two puppies that missed posting earlier, so she’s a pinch older than the other puppies at about 15 weeks. She’s got me guessing as to size; she’s leggy and elegant, kind of like a little supermodel, and I’m pretty certain she’ll not go a bit over 14 pounds, but I might miss it by a pound or so.
Athletic and sporty, she loves the outdoors and will zoom around as fast as she can go. Then, a bit later, she’s back inside, all curled up and cozy in her basket, where she’ll happily snooze away for an hour or two at a time. I was in my office the other day, and after she had chased several imaginary bunnies around the play yard, she came back inside and put her paws on my knee to be picked up and held for one of those naps. She was asleep in two minutes (I had to share the cute picture; she is just a sweetcakes of a puppy!).
She’s got a heart of gold, and when she’s not in the midst of the puppy sillies, she’s the most thoughtful, kind-natured thing; if you want a devoted and faithful dog, don’t miss this girl. I can just see her riding alongside you while you do the weekly marketing. She’ll quickly become indispensable, and you’ll want to take her along whereever you go.
Personable and extra friendly, she’ll be an excellent fit for someone looking for a fancy four-footed friend to show off to the neighborhood, share the hammock on summer nights, OR keep the kids happy and entertained when you’re longing for some mom-time lol.
Cavapoo Puppy Ruby & White Boy | 18 pounds grown-up size.
Isn’t this boy the most handsome puppy ever? That rich mahogany coat with his brightest white markings,,, so pretty! He almost didn’t get posted as available, a couple of you extra-savvy puppy shoppers had spied him and wanted to put him on hold, but I ended up steering them towards two slightly smaller puppy kids as they wanted to stay close to ten pounds. I never know who is going to fly off the page; sometimes, I watch in disbelief as an entire litter of puppies is chosen as fast as I can post them, and other times, a single puppy will linger a while. I always say waiting for their family to find them.
If you’ve been in the market for a big dog, though, let me make the case for a more pint-sized puppy. A puppy weighing in at under 20 pounds is so wonderfully portable and easy to groom and maintain, yet retains the sensibilities of their larger canine kin. Oftentimes, the smaller breeds are eminently more sensible than the large economy-sized dogs, who have such boundless energy and need vast amounts of exercise to temper all that enthusiasm until they finally mature lol.
Huckleberry is perfectly sturdy and smallish but thinks he weighs about 60 pounds and is swaggery and waggy-tailed as the biggest Goldendoodle you’ll ever see. He’s also sweetly friendly with all creatures, great and small. Kid-friendly and jolly, he’ll be happy anywhere you take him from the beach to the boat and everywhere in between. If you’re looking for a second addition to the doggie part of your family, look no further. This boy isn’t a pinch alpha and will happily take the position of the 2nd dog and let your resident girlie or boy dog be the boss of everything. Got a cat? Not to worry, tell him that this puppy guy is a lover, not a fighter!
Cavapoo Puppy Ruby & White Boy | 14 or so pounds grown
This boy puppy has such a stately way about him; he gazes directly into my eyes; he’s a compliant child and tries to understand every word I say. So smart and willing to please, but hidden just under the surface is a well-developed sense of humor and kindly nature that speaks well of the wonderful companion dog he is going to become.
Puppy picture day was right up his alley; he thought it was the perfect way to spend a sunny afternoon (especially since he’d enjoyed cantering around the play yard doing his best to have the highest hops coming off the teeter-totter; he was all worn out from his adventures, and settled into my (love it!) vintage wicker basket as if he was born to have his pictures shared with the world lol.
Nothing bashful about this guy, but nothing over the top either; he was just super pleased to have one-on-one time with Mama Terry, and tasting all the carroty props was lots of fun, too. He’ll be a lovely choice for the empty nester who wants a car buddy to take along while doing the weekly shopping (can’t you see him curled up in a cute car seat gazing out the window at all the thrilling sights in the neighborhood? Taking him for his first Puppiccino will have to be high on your list of fun trips for the new addition!
Don’t miss this lovely puppy; look into his deep-set eyes and see if there’s that connection I always look for between puppy seeker and puppy, something that keeps you thinking about a certain puppy and wondering if it’s time after all to take the puppy plunge. You’ll never look back I promise, puppies are truly good for the soul 💜
Cavachon Puppy Blenheim Girl | I’ll be a bit bigger, about 14 - 16 pounds all grown up!
Aw, here is the other little mother hen in this litter of Cavachon cuties! The girls have been entirely smitten with the new bunny arrivals in the overflowing toy basket lately. Just the right size for carrying gently in one’s mouth, Daisy Wren has done her share of hiding baby bunnies and trying to keep her pesky brothers from chewing their ears off! 😳 The boys, being boys, can’t understand why their sisters aren’t on board with this program, and it’s keeping Daisy & Hazel busy doing bunny search and rescue, lol.
Yes, I’m thinking Daisy will fit in nicely in just about any setting; she’s a wee bit maternal and will cuddle up with your little ones and sympathize sweetly when they fall down and go boom. She'll also romp and play to their heart's content, but when bedtime comes, she'll be mother's little helper, and you can tuck her in with your reluctant toddler, and she'll snuggle in close and help them go nighty night. (Hum, after she’s house-trained, says the more practical side of Mama Terry).
Which brings to mind a question I’m asked quite often: is it OK to have my puppy sleep with me (or with the kids who are pleading for their turn with the family’s canine companion)? Actually, it’s one of the most pleasant ways to drift off to dreamland, with a warm little dog pressed gently up against your side, a dog’s body temp is a couple of degrees warmer than ours, and it’s the most comforting things in the world. Just ask our Hastings who claims his spot in bed with hubby and I every night without fail.
My puppy training philosophy was gained through a lifetime of experience, from managing an animal hospital and working as a veterinary technician to two decades as owner of an upscale doggie spa and boarding kennel in Charleston, S.C. Yes, I even groomed professionally, and know what it takes to raise puppies with incredibly hypoallergenic coats.
Those years of caring for dogs of every breed, shape, and size were priceless experiences for this dog breeder.
Moreover, as the founder and past owner of a natural pet supplement company, I’ve gained an unusual degree of expertise in all aspects of what a truly exceptional canine companion looks like and, more importantly, how to navigate both puppy and puppy buyer on that sometimes perilous feeling journey.
For example, before they leave home, a Foxglove Farm Cavachon or Cavapoo puppy is typically doing extremely well on all the puppy basics: they sleep through the night,
(Yep, you read that right! almost without exception, even from the first night in their new homes!) Thankfully, they are also well-started in the house training process.
"We met one of your dogs while camping and we all fell in love!!! The owner said it was a Cavachon and that Foxglove was the ONLY place to go!" - Renee in Michigan
A FOXGLOVE FARM PUPPY WILL PAY FOR HERSELF A THOUSAND TIMES IN THE YEARS YOU OWN HER.
I've heard it over and over:
One of our gorgeous Cavachon puppies.
"You have the most beautiful puppies on the internet; what is it about your puppies? I keep coming back; they are just gorgeous, and your website is amazing! I wouldn’t buy a puppy anywhere else!"
Because I'm so passionate about the difference a great puppy makes, I know how to raise not only stunningly beautiful Cavachons and Cavapoos but puppies that because I put the extra time in to be sure the puppy you purchase will settle into their home as quickly and easily as possible.
I call them "Starter Puppies," usually 11 to 12 weeks old before they leave, making for a puppy who is mature enough to be crate trained when he arrives, sleeps through the night, and old enough to potty train quickly. You won't miss anything with a puppy that's a couple of weeks older, unless getting up at 3:00 am is high on your list of puppy wants! I don't let puppies go too early, it makes things so much easier for the new owner when puppies are just a tad more mature.
I want a healthy Cavachon (and a good dog breeder should want that for her puppy people too!)
Because we raise only hybrids, a blending of Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Bichon or Poodle, your chances of getting a puppy who is sound and healthy are much increased. We have worked for years to gather healthy bloodlines from around the world to avoid issues like mitral valve disease which is so common in the Cavalier but happily, it is more difficult for Cavalier offspring who are not purebred to inherit that problem. The same is true for hip dysplasia and other health problems found all too often in most pure breeds of dogs. We do OFA testing and do our utmost to ensure that our puppies are born from healthy, happy parents of course. Testing isnt a guarantee though. I have seen even dogs with clear tests produce puppies with inherited problems when we raised purebred dogs many years ago, which is why I no longer raise AKC registered dogs, only hybrid Cavalier King Charles Spaniels who have a much greater likelihood of having a long healthy life.
A cavachon or cavapoo puppy from Foxglove Farm will have had the best supplements from birth.
All of our dogs are given daily probiotics and supplements like NuVet Plus. I feel it's absolutely vital to help young puppies have a strong immune system, not only to prevent disease but to help them thrive in spite of vaccinations and other stressors common to young puppies.
Vaccinations and deworming are up to date. However, I recommend a cautious approach to some of the harsher vaccines, like Leptospirosis, which has been shown to have a high rate of reactions in sensitive dogs.
I recommend a cautious approach to excess vaccines in your puppy as the most prudent course. My background in veterinary medicine is combined with a more holistic approach in caring for the puppies I raise and the recommendations I give my puppy buyers on how to thoughtfully care for their new puppy in a more natural way that is safer for them and for their families.
For example, Here’s an excerpt from a series I wrote called Mistakes Pet Owners Make; it discusses the dangers of neutering your puppy too quickly and why waiting for neutering to about 12 to 14 months (for a Cavapoo or Cavachon is a good idea).
“Current research points to many excellent reasons to delay neutering your pet until it has matured and its growth plates have had time to close. Early neutering (which is typically as early as 5 months of age) is being blamed for the rapid rise of joint disease and the explosion in the number of joint surgeries.”
My goal is that my Puppy People have a lifetime of happy years with their new puppy, be it a Cavachon or a Cavapoo, and that puppy is a joy and a delight for many, many years to come. I hear from our past puppy buyers on a daily basis that our oldest “puppies” are commonly 16 and even 17 years of age!
The flight nanny service is so amazing, they do a fabulous job and take such good care of my puppies, ensuring they have a gentle and safe journey.
Early socialization of this kind is invaluable and makes a better traveler out of your puppy for the long-term. Please don't forget to generously tip your nanny, she (or he) often ends up going above and beyond; flying in the dark of night and through the winter storm to navigate your baby safely home.
The fact that this fee includes the ticket the airline ticket makes it a real bargain. Don't worry about your puppy being in cargo or below in the airplane, your puppy will be by the nanny’s side the entire journey and most of them (unless in a rush to catch flights) are wonderful about sharing updates on their journey and pictures too.
Read my blog post on Puppy Travel to see pictures of the actual puppy flight process!
I’ve sent puppies via the airlines for many years with great success but I’m happy to announce that we are now using a Flight Nanny for each of our puppies to travel in style to their forever homes!
The Flight Nanny meets me at our airport, travels with the puppy under her seat on the way to baby’s new home. She meets the new family at the airport nearest their home and puppy is hand delivered to the excited family (who is waiting with baited breath and open arms!)
I’ve been super pleased with the service and the puppies agree! The only complication thus far is navigating through an airport with the cutest puppy on the planet in your arms!
If you live anywhere from Denver to the West Coast, the flight nanny charges more, it’s harder for her to get a return ticket and sometimes she ends up getting a hotel and spending the night so it’s still a bargain at $975.00 😊 This does include the ticket just in case you’re wondering 😊
Our puppies travel with their own personal flight nanny, a wonderful improvement from the days when we sent puppies via Continental Airlines and the poor babies had to fly with the baggage in cargo 😳
Thankfully, those days are gone, and all of our puppies travel in style in the cabin. Their nanny brings your puppy from Foxglove Farm to your airport for an exceedingly low fee of $775.00 (West Coast region $975.00). (YES, This includes the cost of the ticket!).
Try not to worry about your puppy traveling, it is an excellent experience for them to have in their puppy toolkit and will benefit them the rest of their life and yes, make a better traveler out of your puppy for any future journey you decide to take!
I provide many resources to help each new puppy buyer become a puppy expert as quickly as possible. A New Puppy Owners' Quick Start Guide along with an online Puppy eCourse to help you navigate puppyhood with ease. I point new puppy owners to a carefully curated list of puppy supplies, the best puppy food, the right tools to housetrain properly, and so on.
Your purchase of a Foxglove Cavachon or cavapoo puppy includes our fantastic puppy care kit - lifetime access to new puppy 101- & the first steps to your puppy's healthy journey - A week’s supply of Instinct raw boost puppy food, NuVet Plus Vitamins, toys including a ball for playing fetch, baby blanket toy, two special stuffed animal friends, a proper grooming brush, a snazzy collar and leash, health records of course and microchip tag. WOW!
My goal is to raise not only the most beautiful and easy-to-train Cavachons & Cavapoos you'll find but to be sure that each puppy I place is exceptionally healthy. Life happens, and as a dog breeder of many years standing, I know that there will occasionally be problems, but it should always be the desire of a good dog breeder to place healthy puppies and to stand behind her puppies if a problem occurs. To further provide security to our puppy buyers, I offer a 5-year health guarantee, the longest of any Cavachon or Cavapoo breeder in the country.
We also send along an amazing puppy kit with each of our furry little bundles. Inside you'll find a trendy little collar & lead (just the right size for little puppy kids), a generous puppy food sample, and a canine health record with puppy health exam dates, vaccination, and deworming details for your veterinarian. Also included is a rope bone toy made out of part of your puppy's baby blanket, along with a stuffed animal (a bear, elephant, or Froggie friend); what I love about these special toys is that your puppy will cherish these two items, sometimes years later my puppy people send photos of their puppies and that toy from their first home. One lady told me,
"Of all his toys, the little elephant and his rope toy are the ones he picks out of the basket first after all this time. I've had to sew them back together several times because they've gotten so shabby and worn after 7 years! But he doesn't care—he just loves them, they must remind him of home 🏡 “
Cavapoo Puppy RARE RARE RARE Phantom Blue Merle Boy LOVE this puppy | 12 - 14 Pound Adult Size
Isn’t this the most beautiful puppy you’ve ever seen?!!? Be prepared; I’m going to use up all my adjectives and a whole drawer full of exclamation points on this litter!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry, I can't help myself. I have wanted to raise this color Cavapoo for decades, and I couldn't be happier to have a litter of five of the beautiful blue babies! Oh, but Silverado! He needs to have a calendar all of his own. An Instagram account. His own YouTube channel and perhaps a line of doggie accessories with his likeness emblazoned over everything. In my mad enthusiasm, I almost designed a T-shirt with his beautiful face front and center and those eyes,,,, I can’t decide if they’re turquoise, or aquamarine, or sea blue, all favorite colors of mine and when they are found in the face of a beautiful puppy almost miraculously beautiful, I can just sit and look into them.
I am head over heels in love.
And yes, I've always threatened to have a $10,000 puppy, but if you divide that into 12 or 15 years of owning one of the most wondrous canine companions on the planet, even a $10,000 puppy will pay for himself a thousand times over. In the joy he brings to your heart and the smile he brings to your face every time you look at him, and yes, the pride going down the boulevard with an utterly unique and stunningly beautiful dog at the end of the lead.
But lest you think his charms are all external, I promise he is as lovely inside as he is outside. He has a stateliness at times when I call the look of eagles in his expression, and then the little munchkin can turn around and hopscotch across the floor, white boots ablazing as he skitters after everyone's latest newest favorite toy; the infamous purple chicken, a disreputable bundle of purple fluff that I can't wait to toss in the rubbish, it's the most awful shade of purple but they dearly love it so what can I do?
Well, I've gone on and on and on, and I'll finish by saying John really wants to keep this boy, and I would dearly love to keep him, too. I only get really tempted occasionally but this is one of those times. As soon as I see someone has purchased him I can step away from the cliff, but until then my finger too, is hovering over the purchase button! Sweet puppy dreams everyone!
