So what in the world do you do when you are really, really cute, but your ears have a funny way of curling up on the ends when you get excited? Mama Terry says I’m just teething and that calcium sometimes does silly things with puppy ears (but she laughs at me whenever it happens and hugs me while she laughs. I think that’s a good thing, right?) 😂
Yes, I can’t help but laugh at Lil June Bug. She’s got this quizzical expression on her small face. She's such a little homebody, and whenever I laugh at her, it's like she's trying to decide if she has something stuck to her fur or puppy food on her face. What could possibly be so funny?
Other than her temporarily extra adorable curled ears, she is a charming morsel of Irish setter red puppy fluff who is going to, yes, charm the socks off of your entire family the moment they meet her. She’s the perfect fit for just about any setting; she loves kids and is playful enough to entertain them and snuggly enough to go down for a nap when they need a buddy.
Yes, she has four paws and one tail and is eventually going to have nice uncurly ears, but in the meantime, you can enjoy a little comic relief as well.

Here's just the most cozy guy, he really is total mush, all 9 lb of him at the vet today can you believe it!? He's totally clueless that he's already the size of a small pony and as that puts him in the standard bracket for a Cavapoo he will be a wonderful substitute for those of you teetering on the brink of doodle ownership.
Lest you think he is the Incredible Hulk, let me assure you, he's actually super soft-natured, and kind and affectionate with only occasional bursts of goofiness that remind me that he's still just an overgrown baby.
He tries so hard to be as small as his siblings I swear he crouches down so he doesn't tower over them so they will let him join in their games. The bad part is when he gets on one end of the teeter-totter whoever is on the other goes sailing. I try not to laugh but since they have a cushiony landing it really is funny and they all seem to enjoy it vastly and run back around to see who's turn it is next.
He'll be a great addition if you already have a dog not an alpha bone in his body, he gets an A+ in temperament and is a compliant puppy in the making. If you'd like a little help on your own backyard teeter totter he's your guy!
Cavapoo Puppy Apricot & Cream Girl 14 Pounds | Serious/Silly/Sweet/So Smart!
Cappuccino tried with all her might to pose prettily for her puppy pictures; she placed her paws exactly where I pointed, and gazed winningly at the camera, turning this way and that, making sure I got all of her pretty angles. At times, she is the very most thoughtful creature; at other times, a bit of a hooligan; she is full of zest and life, and nothing makes her happier than playing in the backyard until she's tired and then snuggling in for a nice long nap, her favorite Mr John's lap.
I think it's that red hair, or I guess she does tend a little more toward apricot reminding me of I Love Lucy In the glory days of television sitcoms. She's just as entertaining and occasionally every bit as zany but always entirely lovable.
Cavachon Puppy Tricolor Boy 16 - 18 Pounds Grown | He’s SO CUTE! | Love that lil face!
So yes, my current ❤️ dog is a Tricolor Cavachon named Hastings. God sent him to heal our hearts two long sad years after we lost our beautiful Agatha. I was your typical puppy resistant Puppy Person, woefully in need of keeping one of my own puppies to help fill my empty heart.
And Hastings has done that over and over again, he makes us laugh every single day and if I could write a letter to myself I would I would say he was the best decision I ever made however reluctantly at the time. It's a long story and will make its way into a blog post one of these days but in the meantime this little munchkin it's just beginning his journey and I know he too will heal hearts and bring laughter to the family he goes home too.
There is something utterly irresistible about his expression, his new people are going to enjoy him so much! He's got a comical little nature and is sporty enough to keep up with the big guys in the neighborhood. He is a happy-tailed friendly hearted little man that will make his way into your heart faster than you can say Puppy Chow!
Cavachon Puppy Blenheim Boy 15 Pounds Grown | SUCH a beautiful puppy!
Everyone knows I'm in love with my Blenheim Cavachons, they are just born to be the best sort of family dog; super sweet and smart and sensible and that gorgeous gold and white coat makes for such a beautiful canine companion. They remind me so much of the Cavalier, and some of them like this baby have that smudge of gold on the top of their forehead, which legend has it is the mark of favor from the Queen!
Salty is not too worried about castles in England or what the queen might think of him, his whole heart will be focused on his new family. He will make it his full-time job to be the best boy he possibly can be, and while I see a bit of mischief in his eyes I also see the makings of one of the best dogs you’ll ever own.
He’ll charm the socks off the entire family I promise, and have you writing Miss Terry in a year or two to tell me what an amazing dog he’s grown up to be, and that you don’t know what you’d do without him! I get letters like that all the time, and I never tire of hearing how a great dog can complete your life. As Salty sets sail on his puppy journey, I know he’ll bring joy to his new family and make them say he’s the best doggy decision they’ve ever made ❤️
Cavapoo Puppy Blenheim Boy 12 - 14 Pounds-Ish | Stylish & Sporty | Such a Nice Puppy!
Well the sun has finally decided to make an appearance in Ohio, and true to form, she has jumped from 29° night before last to 77° on this Saturday afternoon. The puppies are thrilled to bits I'm trying to decide whether I need to really and truly put away my sweaters or not.
We’ve spent the day outdoors today, me puttering around in the garden (in between posting puppies) and the little four-footed creatures cavorting joyfully in the sunshine; we are almost giddy with delight to finally see the SUN!
Frankie has decided that he needs a nap after all that sunshine. He’s snuggled on top of Herbie, and they take turns being the pillow; it’s always nice to have someone to snuggle with, and Frankie is a cozy kind of puppy; he’s sporty and fun, but oh, he loves a good nap lol.
This is an unusual color in the Cavapoo. The little redheads are what we normally see, but Miss Terry does love unusual colors, and for those who want a Cavapoo that looks like a Cavalier, this is a great solution. Happily avoiding the Cavalier's non-stop shedding, Frankie has a perfectly hypoallergenic and non-shed coat. He will be a low-maintenance, easy-to-groom canine companion.
Cavapoo Puppy Ruby & White Boy 14 Pounds Grown | Such a DARLING PUPPY!
There's something so entirely delightful about this little guy, he is so funny and is always doing something to make everyone laugh. Super smart he's just going to be truly the best boy, easy to train, he looks right in your eyes and tries to understand every single word. Extra cuddly, a total snuggle bug, but in between naps he is sporty and athletic and canters around after his siblings as fast as his chubby little paws will carry him lol.
Gosh I took way too many pictures of this baby, I counted 35 of them that I thought were his best, Google is definitely not going to be happy with my overload of images. The camera loves this guy though, from his gorgeous mahogany Ruby coat, all extra extra shiny and silky, to all the splashes of snowy white setting giving him that winsome expression and character. He wasn't especially wild about the camera but I can sympathize because I'm not either, I got the cutest video of him trying to kiss my phone I'll try to add it later though Google will probably not let me since I'm using so many pictures! Oh well suffice to say he is exceedingly scrumptious and will fill someone's heart with Puppy Joy!
Cavapoo Puppy Blenheim Girl Small but Mighty 10 - 12 Pounds | Cuteness Overload
This little bundle,,, what can I say? She is such a character! Yes, she's on the small side of things, but I promise you this: she doesn't have a clue that she's not about 90 lb of canine cuteness wrapped in a bundle of gold and white fluff guaranteed to melt the coldest “No! we are not getting a puppy!” heart. Some of my settings were off in her photos (go figure!) but the ones from my phone show her off properly, she is a STUNNING baby!
She truly is a little love, spicy, and energetic at times; see her wrecking all my little stuffed dogs? At one point, she had them tossed upside down and was happily deciding which one she was going to gnaw on first, lol.
Yep, she can be energetic and bouncy but quickly winds down when it's time to watch your favorite gardening show; an added benefit, she’ll be thrilled to help you dig any new plants that need transplanting 🌱 she will make a most delightful doggy companion, her cheery nature will entertain and delight on a daily basis. Not an ounce of meanness in her, she's a darling and I predict will be snatched up in the blink of an eye! Don't miss her!

Little Miss Personality couldn't yes be one bit more adorable if she tried! Everyone knows I'm head over heels in love with my Tri-Color Cavachons, if you follow my Instagram you know that that is our current ❤️ dog, Hastings who is approaching 5 years of age and is the love of our lives. It's amazing to me how much how very attached we get to our canine family members, sometimes closer than our the two-legged variety, I suppose because they are with us almost all the time. And, after all they are without fail devoted to their people and spend every day making themselves an indispensable part of our lives.
This is such a lovely puppy, all the things I look for and I’m so fussy! She has perfect markings, with a coat like spun silk, and that round little teddy bear face that I love; she ticks all the boxes for an outstanding choice and unlike so many breeds that can send your doggie dreams off the rails, she’ll be a seamless addition to any family. She’s as sweet and trainable as she is beautiful, just ready to become the best decision you’ve ever made if you’re puppy shopping!
Cavachon Puppy TINY DOLL Blenheim Girl Small But Mighty | Snuggles & Prances | 10 pounds
Here we go puppy people, this little miss is going to break hearts the moment I post her because she's already spoken for, tiny Blenheim girls are few and far between! Her siblings are posting tomorrow and they are pretty scrumptious too but definitely not as tiny.
Though she doesn't like being described as tiny because she thinks she's a great big dog, at least as big as golden retriever next door who she greatly desires to be friends with. She hasn't a mean bone in her little body, she's so brave and friendly and loving and affectionate and is just going to be so much fun for her happy new family.
There, I've used up all my adjectives in just the first two paragraphs what am I to do now!? Suffice to say that puppies like this are the joy of my life, I know she will bring much love and laughter to her family, as well as having them wrapped right around her little velvet paw in no time at all! Because I'm so passionate about the difference a great puppy makes, I know how to raise not only stunningly beautiful Cavachons and Cavapoos but puppies that because I put the extra time in to be sure the puppy you purchase will settle into their home as quickly and easily as possible.
I call them "Starter Puppies," usually 11 to 12 weeks old before they leave, making for a puppy who is mature enough to be crate trained when he arrives, sleeps through the night, and old enough to potty train quickly. You won't miss anything with a puppy that's a couple of weeks older, unless getting up at 3:00 am is high on your list of puppy wants! I don't let puppies go too early, it makes things so much easier for the new owner when puppies are just a tad more mature.
I want a healthy Cavachon (and a good dog breeder should want that for her puppy people too!)
Because we raise only hybrids, a blending of Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Bichon or Poodle, your chances of getting a puppy who is sound and healthy are much increased. We have worked for years to gather healthy bloodlines from around the world to avoid issues like mitral valve disease which is so common in the Cavalier but happily, it is more difficult for Cavalier offspring who are not purebred to inherit that problem. The same is true for hip dysplasia and other health problems found all too often in most pure breeds of dogs. We do yearly OFA genetic testing and only allow puppies to be born from healthy, happy parents of course, but I have seen even dogs with clear tests produce puppies with inherited problems when we raised purebred dogs many years ago, which is why I no longer raise AKC registered dogs, only hybrid Cavalier King Charles Spaniels who have a much greater likelihood of having a long healthy life.
A cavachon or cavapoo puppy from Foxglove Farm will have had the best supplements from birth.
All of our dogs are given daily probiotics and supplements like NuVet Plus. I feel it's absolutely vital to help young puppies have a strong immune system, not only to prevent disease but to help them thrive in spite of vaccinations and other stressors common to young puppies.
Vaccinations and deworming are up to date. However, I recommend a cautious approach to some of the harsher vaccines, like Leptospirosis, which has been shown to have a high rate of reactions in sensitive dogs.
I recommend a cautious approach to excess vaccines in your puppy as the most prudent course. My background in veterinary medicine is combined with a more holistic approach in caring for the puppies I raise and the recommendations I give my puppy buyers on how to thoughtfully care for their new puppy in a more natural way that is safer for them and for their families.
For example, Here’s an excerpt from a series I wrote called Mistakes Pet Owners Make; it discusses the dangers of neutering your puppy too quickly and why waiting for neutering to about 12 to 14 months (for a Cavapoo or Cavachon is a good idea).
“Current research points to many excellent reasons to delay neutering your pet until it has matured and its growth plates have had time to close. Early neutering (which is typically as early as 5 months of age) is being blamed for the rapid rise of joint disease and the explosion in the number of joint surgeries.”
My goal is that my Puppy People have a lifetime of happy years with their new puppy, be it a Cavachon or a Cavapoo, and that puppy is a joy and a delight for many, many years to come. I hear from our past puppy buyers on a daily basis that our oldest “puppies” are commonly 16 and even 17 years of age!
