If we were discussing some breeds I would definitely have strong opinions as to why I would prefer a male or female. The great thing about the Cavalier hybrids is that temperament is uniformly delightful, the girls seem to avoid hormonal swings that plague some breeds, the boys are invariably sunny and affectionate. I laughingly say you could shut your eyes and pick one and get a great puppy, so don't let your choice be totally driven by that consideration. Gatsby is a perfect example of what I love about the little hybrids. Yes, he's exceedingly handsome, I love his color and coat, that beautiful expression, but more importantly, I'm thrilled with his sunny nature and his evident love for all creatures great and small!
