Daisy Sue says to tell everyone that she is bright as a button and the cutest little carrot in the whole bunch 🥕 ! An earnest small soul, she's affectionate and extra sweet-tempered, and I have to admit, entirely adorable even if she does say so herself!

She’s also an extra smart and trainable small creature, absorbing her puppy lessons like a little sponge. Crate training is coming along nicely, but she says walking on the leash is more fun if you hold it in your mouth, of course!

She's a cuddly puppy, loves snuggling in with her stuffed animals, by the way I am a big fan of puppies having a puppy sized stuffed toy or two that they can drape themselves over. I think it's very comforting for them and reminiscent of when they snoozed with their siblings all piled together in a fluffy little heap. 

I always send along an assortment of toys, a small elephant or bear or frog that is the perfect size for a puppy to tote around in her mouth. But (whether the poor nanny has room for it or not), I managed to stuff a life-sized plush puppy friend in the top of the package of goodies I send home with each baby. I've been told year after year that those are the favorite toys, some of them a decade out are still carrying around the little elephant I sent along, minus it's stuffing and having been mended a few dozen times over the years. Amazing little puppy noses know those items came from their first home.
