Sorry, but it does bear repeating: both these black Cavapoo boys, Granite and Coal, his bookend brother, are exceedingly handsome, and their wonderfully textured coats promise hypoallergenic bliss and no sneezing if allergies are an issue at your house.

But lest we forget the really fun stuff, look into these dark eyes, and you'll see a smidgen of mischief, well mixed with an extra dose of affection and a little comic relief thrown in for good measure. Granite is all boy; he'll troop around after your kids as if it's his very thing favorite thing in the world (which, of course, it will be). 

Kids bond with their dogs in such wonderful ways. I've always said that raising a puppy makes kids better parents when that day comes, and it's true. They learn nurturing, and responsibility, and gentleness, and what it's like to have unconditional love. And it sure doesn't hurt if that's all packaged in a satin-coated furry individual who will bring more joy to their puppy-loving hearts than you ever thought impossible. 

Get those kids a dog, parents! Lest you wake up and find that they are 16 or 17 or going off to college, and you've missed that window. And don't be like the moms and dads I see who FINALLY get a puppy AFTER the kids have gone to college—it's not a happy scenario, I promise you, lol! Hurry, now's the time, while they're young enough to experience a special joy that doesn't come around often in this ole life, a puppy can work wonders, just you watch and see!
