Cavapoo Puppy Apricot and White Boy | No more Shouting 😃 | He’s SO CUTE!

So yes, I’ve promised to quit shouting and leaping about ecstatically but it's hard for me to be calm and dignified when I'm so besotted with my puppies. Not only because they're mine but because on a mission to assist puppy phobic people and help them avoid the perilous pitfalls of choosing a family pet that could end up taking 5 years (or more!) to mature into a sensible, easy to live with canine companion.

Take it from the voice of experience. On my journey as a dog breeder-trainer-groomer-boarding kennel owner I have seen at all. Truly. I have seen people with a 6 or 7 or 8-year-old dogs that were still so bonkers and silly and bouncing off the wall as if they were still 10 week old puppies. I have literally stood in my boarding kennel office and watched elderly owners dragged in the door by their exuberant over the top goofy canines who didn’t realize the sensible dogs didn’t knock people over or bark uncontrolably when they were the least bit excited.

I’ll never forget the day I watched in dismay (and his name shell forever be hidden to protect the guilty) as an 80 pound canine literally clawed the walls in my office as his owner tried to check him in for the hoilday weekend. “Banjo” was a delightfully friendly but truly brainless golden mix who in the years we helped care for him, never gained an iota of sense. He was happy and friendly and completely without brains his whole silly life and the sad thing was that his owner was simply not strong enough to handle him and spent years being dragged about by her clueless canine.

Fast forward to 2023 and this older and wiser dog professional and do you wonder why I’m so passionate about connecting people with amazing puppies like Java Joe? Who will have a brief silly puppyhood and mature quickly into a brillantly trainable and delightful dog that never drags his people around or barks with every breath. (I so need to write a book!). This is a WONDERFUL PUPPY…. Oh, about 15 entirely managable pounds grown!
