These puppies were so much fun to take pictures of, from Maybelle Merriwether, who was determined to spread her furry self full-length on the rather inadequate little bench I was using in my fall extravaganza of puppy pictures to the little redheads who were convinced that allll the puppy props needed tasting.

Cookie Monster, AKA “Waldo,” did his best to sit politely in the midst of the oh-so-tempting rafia strewn all about. He plopped his furry bottom down in the midst of it, convinced that surely some of it was edible, but gave up after a nibble or two, deciding it was a total waste of time as far as nutrition or flavor went, lol. 

He's a sensible puppy guy most of the time. Occasionally, he indulges in puppy zoomies, especially when Maybelle is after him. What else are little sisters for, says she? They do wear each other out nicely. The beauty of having a sibling or a canine friend for your puppy, even next door, socializing and playing with the neighbor’s good dog can do your puppy a world of good in so many ways! Just make sure the aforementioned playmate has basic good manners and isn't too much of a hooligan.  Seek out good role models for your new puppy; they are wonderfully helpful when navigating through puppyhood!
