Just When You Think They Can't Be Any Cuter!

Look at these little faces, dark eyes peer out at a very big world and their journey begins. A puppy seeker in Baltimore, or Boston, perhaps in Miami or Phoenix, will open their Inbox and with excited fingers, quickly click on this email. Many of you have been anxiously waiting (with much pressure from the little people in your own house who are urgently pleading that NOW is the time to make their puppy dreams come true) and finally,,, finally, the new litter has posted and you peruse each of the puppies, this one and that one, trying to decide which is the one that jumps off the page and as I so often have said, right into your heart.
Sometimes when I take pictures of a new litter I have to stop and marvel over the complexity of such tiny creatures and how each one is perfectly fitted to bring puppy joy in full measure to the families they will go home with. It amazes me, they each have a special spot to fill. Each has a job to do, the job I raise them to do with all of their puppy hearts, bring puppy joy...
Some are outgoing and full of mischief, some more reserved, at least at first until the new begins to wear off and they get the measure of that new family and begin to settle in and rule with velvet paws. (Ah, but that's what this Puppy Diva is here for, to help you guide your new little addition down the path to being an extraordinary family companion.
The key is to start with the right puppy, then add lots of structure and praise, seasoned liberally with leadership and yes firmness and lots of love and before you know it you'll have the dog you always dreamed of owning.
